Alchemical wedding t-shirt

This design is based on an early modern engraving associated with the allegory of the alchemical wedding. The composition depicts two female figures riding heraldic lions and raising chalices toward each other in a ritual gesture. Above them appear the Sun and the Moon, forming a classical alchemical polarity.

The scene refers to the symbolic union of opposites — solar and lunar principles, active and receptive forces — a central theme in Hermetic and alchemical imagery of the 16th–17th centuries. The engraving style is preserved in fine monochrome linework, maintaining the character of historical printmaking.
