Terms and Conditions

To avoid misunderstandings when placing an order, we kindly ask you to read and accept the following Terms and Conditions of the online store shop.masonicmuseum.eu — the official souvenir shop of the World Freemasonry Museum in Riga.


1. General Provisions

1.1. As the offer to purchase goods is made via the internet, according to Article 10 of the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia, the agreement between the seller and the buyer is considered a distance contract.

1.2. The online store shop.masonicmuseum.eu is a project of a legal entity — an SIA (Ltd.) registered in the Republic of Latvia.


2. Prices and Payment

2.1. All prices on the website include VAT (21%).

2.2. Delivery costs are not included in the product price and are calculated separately at checkout.

2.3. Payment can be made via internet banking or by bank transfer based on the issued invoice.

2.4. The invoice must be paid within 5 working days. Otherwise, it will be automatically cancelled.


3. Contact Information

3.1. When placing an order, you must provide a valid email address. Order confirmation, invoice, and other necessary documentation will be sent to this email.


4. Delivery and Returns

4.1. Fulfillment and Delivery Times

Orders are typically fulfilled within 3–7 business days and then handed over for shipping. Delivery time depends on the recipient’s location:

  • USA: 3–4 business days

  • Europe: 6–8 business days

  • Australia: 2–14 business days

  • Japan: 4–8 business days

  • International: 10–20 business days

4.2. Shipping Origin

Your order will be shipped from one of our partner Printful’s fulfillment centers, located across various countries.

4.3. Customs Fees

International orders may be subject to customs duties and taxes. These fees are determined by your local customs authority and are beyond our control. Please check your local customs office for more details.

4.4. Returns and Unclaimed Orders

We do not accept returns of the following product categories:

  • Goods made to order or clearly personalized (including Print-on-Demand products);

  • Sealed goods (e.g., face masks) if the seal is broken after delivery — due to hygiene and health safety reasons.

Unclaimed or unauthorized returns will be redirected to our supplier’s (Printful) warehouse. If not claimed within 30 days, the goods will be donated to charity or disposed of. The customer is responsible for any reshipping costs and arrangements.

Notice for EU consumers: According to Article 16 (c) and (e) of the Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011 on consumer rights, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  1. The supply of goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized;

  2. The supply of sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.

4.5. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or misprinted item, please contact us within 30 days of receipt by email at kr@masonicmuseum.eu with photos of the issue. Each case will be reviewed, and if the error is confirmed, a refund or replacement will be provided at our expense.

4.6. Address Errors

If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided and the shipment is returned to the supplier’s warehouse, the customer is responsible for reshipping costs.


5. Complaints

All product quality complaints are handled in accordance with the Consumer Rights Protection Law and the Cabinet of Ministers of Latvia Regulation No. 631 "Procedures for Submitting and Examining Consumer Claims Regarding Non-compliant Goods and Services."


6. Special Conditions

6.1. Consumer protection laws do not apply to purchases made by legal entities.

6.2. The store reserves the right to cancel an order if it is unable to contact the customer using the provided contact information.
